We will be having a special guest come to the class at 10:30 do discuss Dental Health.
Lynda Gowing is a hygienist from Dr. Pannozzo Dental Office.

Family Literacy Day
Children can come to school in warm PJ’s and can bring a stuffed animal.
We will be celebrating the joy of reading.
Parents on this day, if possible could you take a picture of your family reading at home. Then bring in the photo to school no later than February 8, 2006. I
will be making up a collage for the classroom, and will be sending a photo and information to the mountain news.

Valentine’s Day Bowling Party – Sherwood Centre

Parents
and students are to meet at Sherwood Centre at 9:00. Parents are to attend this
trip. Please bring a drink and a nut free snack for your children. The cost of
this trip is $2.85 per child per game. The children are free to wear the new
Peter Pan T-shirts (the red is perfect for valentines).
The children
are more than welcome to bring in Valentines. Please bring enough for each classmate
but without specific names (e.g.: To: My Friend, From Jane) this will make it easier for the kids to hand them out themselves.
