Hamilton & District Council of Co-operative Preschool Integration Program:
This program opened in 1979 in response to requests from a number of Co-op Preschools for support in integrating children
with special needs. Our mandate is to facilitate the physical, intellectual, social and emotional development of children
with special needs in an inclusive setting within member co-operative preschools.
We are a participating member of the Integration Resources Hub. This provides us with access to the
following further supports:
- Intake
- Support Facilitators
- Specialized Resources
- Classwide social skills program
